Things Instagram Made Me Buy, Reviewed
The “unstainable” WFH pajamas – It took two months for these to arrive. They are nice? I haven’t dumped wine or coffee on them yet to test the stain-resistant properties of the “vegan silk” (spoiler alert it is polyester) but I also got them in black so I’m not sure it matters. They’re definitely an upgrade over my other favorite Gap lounging outfit but they are not all that miraculous. (I recommend the Gap set!)
The Alder Apparel pants – Arrived quickly, came with a free tote bag. I don’t know if I am keeping these. They are kind of weird, though they do fit very well.
Jelly Comb keyboard – Do I need a mint green Bluetooth keyboard? As it turns out, yes! And a matching mouse!
The culty ARQ underwear – I think an essay by Meagan O’Connell, not Instagram, made me buy these but who cares. They are good but overpriced for cotton chonies.
wool& dress – I ordered this and it’s on backorder until mid-June so congratulations to the Instagram algorithm!
A Dumb Way That I Waste Time Every Day
Match Tile 3D is a game I have been playing on my phone for about 30 minutes at night while I ignore the entire rest of my life/the world. One of you surely has a Candy Crush Saga habit so I won’t be taking any questions, or guff, at this time.
Recently Watching
Handmaid’s Tale which is altogether too bleak but also at this point why not just see it through.
Defending Jacob which was super fucked up and dark (literally, there is a scene in a hospital where none – none – of the lights in a hallway are turned on) but on the other hand, Chris Evans.
Ted Lasso which is gentle and perfect for these times.

Holy shit this pasta from NYT’s cooking section. I take back what I said about their pasta recipes, this one from Ali Slagle blew my socks off. Make it before it gets too warm outside, add red pepper flake and oregano to the saute. Finish with lemon zest.
