Oh hello there!
I’m not sure I have anything interesting to report, honestly. (This is assuming you’ve found previous editions interesting!) Last night my husband worked late and then we had Easter leftovers for dinner. THE END. Such is the story of many of our days, and yours too I’m sure.
I think I mentioned to you that one thing I am going to (try) to start soon is learning how to quilt. I’ve acquired my pre-cut fabric squares and watched some tutorials and I may dive into that this week. It will be a small quilt, maybe wall-hanging size? And very simple, just a patchwork design to start. I might be saving a lot of money by not going to the salon or to get my nails done or go out to dinner or wander around Target mindlessly scooping things into my basket, but I will probably make up for that in spending on my new hobby. Logic! It never fails me.
Oh, I also placed an order at Food Ireland this morning. I have been wanting brown bread and as you may imagine even wholemeal flour is sold out everywhere. I also ordered Jaffa Cakes, wine gums and a jar of Ballymaloe tomato relish. Normally, the $14 shipping charge would have put me right off of this entirely unnecessary pile of goodies but my judgment regarding such things is very wack right now.
Tonight we’re making Indian food with the last of the lamb from Easter, but tomorrow we may try again to get pizza. That reminds me! Earlier today I saw the most amazing job title on LinkedIn: Associate Brand Manager, Pizza. Imagine being in charge of pizza’s reputation!
